The Federal Aviation Administration has approved a proposal for a new high-rise in downtown Miami.

On March 11, the agency issued a determination letter to Clear Communities Miami North & South, LP, granting approval for a structure reaching 831 feet above ground, or 840 feet above sea level.

The project is set to rise at 130 SE 1st Street, the same location where the Clear Residences tower was previously proposed to the Urban Development Review Board (UDRB) last year—albeit at a shorter height.

The UDRB unanimously recommended approval of the 60-story Clear Residences tower, which, according to filings, will feature 544 residential units, 3,680 square feet of commercial space, and a five-level parking garage with 157 spaces.

Blutrich Holdings Inc. was identified as the developer in the UDRB submission.
