Miami-Dade Second Fastest Growing County In The Nation Last Year

Miami-Dade was the second fastest-growing county in the U.S. last year, according to a Miami Association of Realtors analysis of census data.

The study covered the period from July 1, 2023, to July 1, 2024.

During this time, Miami-Dade County’s population grew by 64,211 people, a 2.3% increase—more than double the national growth rate of 1%.

In terms of total population growth, Miami-Dade ranked second among 3,114 U.S. counties.

Additionally, it led the nation in net international migration, gaining 123,835 people from abroad.
