Carnival Corporation Files Plans For New Global Headquarters In Miami

Carnival Corporation has submitted preliminary plans for a new global headquarters in Miami, signaling a major consolidation of its operations.

The cruise giant previously announced its intention to centralize employees currently spread across multiple locations, including its existing office in Doral. The new headquarters is being designed to accommodate an initial workforce of 2,000 employees.

According to documents filed with Miami-Dade County, the proposed development will feature a 450,000-square-foot office building, a 190,000-square-foot ancillary rehearsal facility, landscaped interactive outdoor areas, and a nine-level parking garage with 2,190 spaces.

Orlando-based HuntonBrady Architects is listed as the project’s architect in the filing.
